Leqvio (inclisiran) is a siRNA therapy that silences PCSK9 in the liver. A mobile nurse comes to you for two starter doses, then one injection every six months. Instalab handles presecription, lab tracking, and ongoing care.

No clinic visits. A licensed physician reviews your case and recent labs, confirms eligibility, and a mobile nurse administers the injection at your home or office.

Membership covers physician visits, mobile nurse scheduling, prior authorization, renewals and concierge support. Lab costs and the medication itself are billed separately.
Some commercial plans cover Leqvio for patients with established cardiovascular disease, familial hypercholesterolemia, and documented statin intolerance. We check your plan and file the prior authorization either way.
It needs a physician who knows the drug, a mobile nurse for each dose, and regular labs to confirm it's working. Here's how our team handles that for you.
A board-certified lipidologist reviews your labs and history, confirms Leqvio is right for you, and writes the prescription. We verify your insurance and enroll you in Novartis patient assistance in parallel.

Recheck LDL and ApoB. Your physician reviews the results with you. Most patients see LDL and ApoB drop sharply, with full effect after the second dose. Labs are billed separately.
A nurse comes back for the second loading dose at month 3. After that, one injection every six months keeps LDL consistently low. We schedule each visit, track your labs, and keep your prescription active.
Track down a lipidologist who actually knows the drug. Coordinate specialty pharmacy, prior auth, and nurse visits yourself. Remember to schedule your next dose six months out.

Leqvio comes pre-filled in a single-dose syringe. A licensed nurse administers it as a subcutaneous injection. The injection itself takes seconds, and you can keep your day moving.
Statins slow cholesterol production. Antibody PCSK9 inhibitors mop up the protein in circulation. Leqvio takes a different path: it silences PCSK9 mRNA inside the liver, so the protein is never made in the first place. The effect is durable enough that two injections a year is enough to keep LDL and ApoB cut in half.
Published in NEJM in 2020, the ORION-10 and ORION-11 trials randomized over 3,000 patients with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease or risk-equivalents to inclisiran or placebo on top of maximally tolerated statin therapy. Across both trials, inclisiran reduced LDL by roughly 50% and ApoB by 40–50% at 17 months. Pooled analyses also suggest a meaningful reduction in cardiovascular events, with larger outcome trials still ongoing.

“I'd been on max-dose rosuvastatin plus ezetimibe for two years and still couldn't get under 130. The first injection cut my LDL in half. I made the lab run it twice.”
“I kept forgetting my Repatha pens. They'd sit in the fridge for weeks at a time. Two shots a year is the only schedule I can actually keep.”
“Very high cholesterol runs in my family. My dad had a heart attack at 51. Having a nurse come to my office made it possible to actually start treatment instead of putting it off another year.”
Leqvio is a prescription medicine. Important safety information applies. The most common side effects are mild injection-site reactions and short-lived flu-like symptoms. Serious side effects are uncommon.
