Coronary CT Angiogram (CCTA)
A fast, non-invasive scan that reveals hidden plaque and early artery narrowing before any symptoms appear. It's one of the most powerful tools for proactive heart disease prevention.

Heart disease is the leading killer in the US, but it's treatable, decades before a heart attack. A CCTA gives the full picture, detecting both calcified and non-calcified plaque, which can lead to heart attacks or strokes if ruptured. This is life-saving information.

How It Works
Step 1: High-Resolution CT Imaging
To visualize the plaque in your coronary arteries, a contrast dye is injected into a vein, typically in your arm. You may receive medication to slow your heart rate for better image clarity.

Step 1: High-Resolution CT Imaging
Step 2: Expert Radiologist Interpretation
A cardiac radiologist reviews your scan and evaluates the presence, type, and location of plaque. This includes an assessment of stenosis, or narrowing in your coronary arteries.
