Is This Test Right for You?
The Galleri test is designed for people who want earlier insight into cancer risk beyond standard screening. It may be a good fit if you:
Are age 40 or older and want broader cancer screening
Have a family history of cancer and want additional reassurance
Are concerned about cancers that do not have routine screening tests
Want to complement, not replace, standard screenings like colonoscopy
Prefer a proactive, prevention focused approach to long term health
Understand that this test looks for cancer signals, not a diagnosis
Early detection is best
Get ahead of cancer when it's most treatable. Early diagnosis leads to a survival rate four times higher than late diagnosis.
Approximately 70% of deaths due to cancer are caused by cancers without recommended screenings.
Today, only 5 cancer screenings are recommended. Adding Galleri detects many more without standard screenings.
In a recent clinical study, Galleri more than doubled the number of cancers detected with recommended screening.
How it works
01
Get kit + schedule blood drawYou'll get the collection kit in the mail, which contains all the materials and instructions for the blood draw. You'll schedule your blood draw at this time.
02
Have blood drawnYou'll either have a trained technician come to you or visit one of 2,000+ patient service centers to have your blood drawn. This is included in the cost of the test.
03
Receive your resultsResults are usually available two weeks after your sample arrives at Galleri's lab. You'll receive an email when it's available in your Instalab account.
Types of cancers detected
Digestive Cancers
Your digestive system is constantly at work processing food and nutrients. Because these organs are exposed to inflammation, acids, and rapid cell turnover every day, cancers here can sometimes develop quietly before symptoms appear.
Neuroendocrine & Hormone-Producing Cancers
Hormone-producing cells are spread throughout the body and help regulate everything from metabolism to growth. Tumors in these cells can be difficult to detect early because they often grow slowly and cause vague or nonspecific symptoms.
Urinary & Reproductive Cancers
These organs help filter waste, balance hormones, and support reproduction. Cancers in this group may develop silently for years, especially when early changes do not cause pain or obvious symptoms.
Blood Cancers
Blood and immune cells are constantly being made and renewed in the bone marrow. When this process goes wrong, abnormal cells can crowd out healthy ones and affect the immune system long before symptoms become clear.
Breast Cancer
Breast tissue changes over time in response to hormones and aging. These repeated cycles can sometimes lead to abnormal cell growth. While breast cancer is more common in women, it can also occur in men.
Skin Cancers
Your skin is your body’s first line of defense and is exposed daily to sunlight and environmental stress. Some skin cancers develop beneath the surface and may not be easy to spot early on.
Head & Neck Cancers
The tissues involved in breathing, speaking, and swallowing are exposed to air, food, and environmental irritants every day. Cancers in these areas can progress before noticeable symptoms develop.
Lung & Chest Cancers
Lung tissue comes into direct contact with everything you breathe. Cancers here often grow without early warning signs, which is why early detection can be especially valuable.
Bone & Soft Tissue Cancers
Bones and soft tissues support movement and structure throughout the body. Cancers in these tissues are rare and can arise in many locations, making them harder to detect based on symptoms alone.
